Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy for residents of Washington and Nevada, where certain laws regulate “consumer health data” broadly defined. This supplement applies only to the extent those laws apply to BarbellBae’s processing of your information.
1. Collection and use of consumer health data
BarbellBae is a fitness-themed social and dating service. We do not operate as a healthcare provider and do not intend to collect health records for medical treatment. However, information you voluntarily add to your profile or messages — for example, workout style, training frequency, injuries or limitations you choose to disclose, or fitness goals — could be considered consumer health data under broad definitions in some jurisdictions.
We use such information for the same purposes described in our Privacy Policy: to operate the Service, show your profile to other members, facilitate connections and messaging, keep the community safe, and improve features. We do not use this information to make medical decisions for you.
2. Disclosure of consumer health data
We may disclose consumer health data only as needed for the purposes above, including to:
- Other members — when you choose to display information on your profile or share it in chat.
- Service providers — vendors who host data, provide security, analytics, or customer support, under contractual safeguards.
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the Service.
- Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell your consumer health data for money. Where applicable law gives you rights to access, delete, or withdraw consent for consumer health data, you may exercise those rights as described below and in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding consumer health data, including to confirm processing, access, delete, or withdraw consent. Submit requests through the contact or support channel provided on the BarbellBae website or app. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
4. Adults only
BarbellBae is for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect consumer health data or any personal information from anyone under 18.
